We are now open at 16939 111 ave. Edmonton, AB! Wednesday - Friday from 11 AM - 7 PM and Saturdays from 11 AM - 5 PM.

Opening Day Sept 30:

Opening Day was incredible. It was such a blast to finally meet people in person and share our passion for disc golf.

Thank you to everyone who patiently waited in line. Thank you to everyone for all the kind words and feedback, in person and through messages from across North America.

We are feeling grateful and excited for this new chapter to start. None of this is possible without your support!

If you haven’t stopped by yet, we look forward to meeting you and showing you around. Feel free to come and just spend time in our lounge watching some disc golf!

We're getting close!

All the discs have moved into the storefront and Ryan is polishing off their organization and Cindy is preparing to put labels on the table dividers and slat wall displays. 

Calvin and Julie are finishing off the 'Kids Section' and the 'Apparel/Accessories Section.' Julie has added her personal touch to this area :)

The Gander Lounge is also almost finished. Our 65" screen is installed and ready to go, and we are working on a shelf display of all our signed and specialty discs, which unfortunately are not for sale :)

We've also almost finished the 'Beginner Section.'

There's a lot of 'almosts' in this update, but we are on track and excited. By later this week, we should be ready for opening giving us a week to polish everything off, clean, and be completely prepared to open our doors on the 30th.

*NOTE* Due to the new COVID restrictions, our capacity will be limited so please be ready to mask up, keep your distance, and possibly wait outside if it's busy. We'll do our best to keep things flowing!

September 15 Update:

Discs are moving in!

All our slat wall is up which gave Ryan the green light to bring in our retail stock and start organizing it on shelves and in tables. Currently discs are piled knee high on the floor and Ryan will spend the next day or two putting them on shelves and in our 'Gander disc tables.'

Our checkout counter is built which gives Cindy the go-ahead to start setting up our Point of Sale system. Backpacks were also loaded onto shelves in the warehouse.

Calvin and Julie will now be following behind and putting up backpack shelves, accessory and kids areas, and a beginner section. 

Calvin and Julie are also working on our 'Gander Lounge' which includes a 65" TV, couch, special disc display, and more. We can't wait for people to be able to kick back and watch some coverage surrounded by disc golf products!

Our next update should show the discs all organized and ready to go, along with the Gander Lounge and some other areas we're working on. Stay tuned!

September 10 Update:

Cindy has put fresh paint on every wall in the store and it's looking so good. We are now busy setting up slat wall and disc shelves in the storefront so Ryan can start filling the storefront with discs and organizing them.

Meanwhile our warehouse shelves and boxes have been assembled and all that's left is to fill them and label the boxes. Our online inventory won't move in until September 27 as we need to continue fulfilling local pickup orders at our current location until then. 

Cindy is hard at work setting up our checkout counter, point of sale system, and computers while Calvin and Julie are setting up shelves for other items, TV's, and cleaning.

It's starting to look and feel like a store!

We couldn't be more excited to open our very own retail store (and warehouse) on September 30th at 11:00 AM on the Southeast corner of 170 street and 111 ave.

We will be open (to start):

Wednesday: 11 AM - 7 PM

Thursday: 11 AM - 7 PM

Friday: 11 AM - 7 PM

Saturday: 11 AM - 5 PM

Our wholesale and inventory manager Ryan is hard at work ramping up our inventory for online sales and our retail space. Some new brands and products that arrive before September will be available online right away and others will only be available in store. Stay tuned to our social media for all the new brands and products we have on the way! 

This change will impact some of the ways we have been operating, including local pickup. Starting September 30, local pickup will be in our storefront during business hours. We realize this means you might have to wait slightly longer to pick up an order placed from Sunday - Tuesday, and we will be reevaluating this system as time goes on.  

We are a family run business: a partnership between Cindy and Ryan (and kids) and Julie and Calvin (and kids). Gander Disc Golf started as a passion project for our two families and it's growing faster than we anticipated. We are so thrilled to be taking this next step in this adventure and can't wait to welcome everyone to our store in a few weeks!
